The Apollo Bay Youth Group meet on Friday Nights.  The age group is from 12 to 18.  The cost is a one off payment of $5 which covers you as a member of the Youth Club.  This is a space for youth to gather socially and just hang out.  They decide what they’ll do on the night and the Youth Group leaders are there to support them.

Activities include

Pool tables, air hockey, table tennis and fooz ball The opportunity for craft activities A chill out room with TV, DVD player and a WII Kids can bring along an X-Box if they want A music space with piano, guitar amp., microphone etc Outside activities as well

The kids usually make there own supper each Friday night.  That could be as simple as putting party pies in the oven to making nachos, muffins, quiches or pizzas.

It's a growing group of about 30 kids turning up each week.  There are basic rules of safety and respect that need to be followed but by and large it is their space to be teenagers.  Occasionally we will run big events gauged by what the kids want.

Friday nights 6.30pm till 9pm, and the doors do close at 9pm every week.  See you there.
