Yr10 Driver Ed.; Yr12 Exams; Yr5/6 Relocation; 'Walk to School' Breakfast
Year 10 students will go on a driver education camp for two days this week, in Charlton. This was partially funded by the Apollo Bay and District Bendigo Bank and we thank them for their support with this invaluable extra-curricular activity.
The year 12 students sit their first exam this week – English! We hope their pre-exam jitters are manageable and wish them well in their other exams.
Year 5/6 students and the library are packing up in the BER building, ready for relocation into classrooms made vacant by the year 12 students. This will allow the next phase of the building works to commence and be completed in time for the 2015 school year. We are always impressed by the positive attitude of the students and staff in dealing with the challenges that have been created by our building works. Not long to go before it is all over (hopefully!).
We have a 'Walk to School' breakfast to celebrate a month of students walking to school as often as they could manage. Whilst many do this regularly anyway, it is terrific to see even greater numbers of students enjoying some physical activity before they get to school. We hope this carries on past the end of the competition!
