Yrs 7+8 Blanket Bay Camp; Maths; 2022 International Trip; Athletics Day
Our Year 7 & 8 students spend some time disconnected from screens and reconnecting with the natural world at Blanket Bay this week. This forms part of their term studies and ‘get to know you’ start to their year, snorkelling, bushwalking, cooking and sleeping under canvas.
Our after school Maths program begins this week with students encouraged to further their enjoyment and understanding of numbers.
We'll hold our first planning meeting for the proposed 2022 International Trip to determine our options considering world travel has changed slightly since Covid.
Athletics Day is coming up shortly, next Tuesday the 9th, Burkey has been busy spraying the lines on our oval – not an easy job!
