Additional waste services over the holidays

To assist our community over the holidays, Council's waste team is offering weekly kerbside recycling collections, as per waste calendars.
This year, we're also offering free disposal of glass at the Alvie, Apollo Bay and Birregurra transfer stations. This also includes the four drop off facilities and Beech Forrest, Carlisle River, Gellibrand and Lavers Hill.
Not forgetting our coastal townships of Wye River and Kennett River, our waste contractors will have a bank of purple wheelie bins for any extra glass that local residents have over the holidays. Locations for the glass bins are 1A The Boulevarde, Wye River and 15A Great Ocean Road, Kennett River.
