Weather conditions were deemed too terrible to play so it was cancelled.

Fri. 11 Mar ’16 – Women’s Otway Pennant at Lorne Country Club

Our opponents were Torquay and again we squared the day with 2½ wins each. Both Sandra Kearton and Sandra Toone had comfortable wins and Norma Begeley won the 18th hole to square her match. Lyn Box and Jill Fowler battled hard all day and we all found the course terrain quite challenging. Another good effort team!

This was well patronised with over 60 players, who also enjoyed a delicious dinner to follow thanks to the organising volunteers.

Golf Lessons

21 March @ 4pm (after golf)

Vicki Thomas will be holding golf lessons for those ladies interested. These sessions are subsidised by a past ladies fundraiser.

Vic MYGolf Program

5 weeks – Fri. 11, 18 March, 15, 22 & 29 April @ 4-5pm

Apollo Bay Golf Club has registered for the Vic MYGolf program. This coincides with the program that will be run at the school for Grades 3-6. MYGolf Junior program cost – $27. Bookings at mygolf.org.au.

This event was most successful with 25 enthusiastic students appearing for tuition. The program was designed for 21 students so unfortunately the groups were a little larger and clubs had to be shared at the first session.
