Fri. 06 May ’16 – Women’s SWDLGA Pennant Div 6 at Anglesea

Apollo Bay’s team beat the previously unbeaten team from Queen’s Park 5/0! This has placed our team equal top with Anglesea. Two games to go! Congratulations to Vicki Hannah, Jill Fowler, Sandra Toone, Helen Stevens and Adele Rowarth.

This was a wild, wet and windy day, so play was postponed until a break in the conditions. By the time the second nine holes were attempted the sun shone, and the course looked fabulous.

A Grade (0-26) – Winner – Janice McKenzie 91-23-71; Runner Up – Marg Smith 92-19-73

B Grade (27-45) – Winner – Joycie Henderson 118-41-77; Runner Up – Jeanette Dodds 107-29-78

Putting – A Grade – Janice McKenzie 33 putts, c/b from Kerryn Wagstaff & Marg Smith; B Grade – Jeanette Dodds 32 putts

After round 2 the leaders are Vicki Hannah 173, followed by Marg Smith 181 and in B Grade Jeanette Dodds 213 & Jan Shaw 214.

Wed. 08 – Mon. 13 Jun – JUNE TOURNAMENT – Please organise your partners, fill out your entry forms (download here) and return them as soon as possible to help the organisers of this major yearly event. The golf course will be closed from close of play on Sunday 5th June for preparation of the course and not open for casual play until close of play on Monday 13th June. The tournament runs from Wednesday 8th June and finishes on the afternoon of Monday June 13th.
