Sun. 18 Sep ’16 – Men’s Par Championship – Round 2

Winner – Don Wagstaff (9) -1;  Runner Up – Rick Johnston (20) -4

Rick Johnston was declared the Par Championship Winner.

Three players from other clubs joined in the daily competition and of these players Peter Cameron scored a nearest the pin on the 1st/10th hole.

The competition was held between showers. It was great to see Sally Stone and Sandra Gay joining our more familiar faces for the competition and hopefully, with improved weather conditions our competition numbers will rise again.

Junior golf clinics will start after the school holidays on Friday afternoons.  This was very successful last time so hopefully the interest continues.

Mon. 10 Oct – Women’s Memorial Shield Day

We hold a produce stall on this day and would welcome fruit, vegetables, cakes, jams, etc and also women members to help with catering, table setting etc. All proceeds from this will be going to our “100 Hole Hike” team to raise money for a facility in Geelong for people with acquired brain injury.
