Wed. 30 May - Week 3 of the men’s stroke 4 week competition was won in A Grade by Bob Bedson 74/64. Runner-up, Colin Coleman, who also netted a nearest the pin on 1st/10th hole, scored 77/64. On 9th/18th hole in A grade Alex Baird was the nearest. B Grade winner was Alan Russ and Manuel Quintana was nearest the pin on 1st/10th hole.

Thu. 31 May - The women’s Par competition was won in A grade by Sandra Toone with -4. Runner-up on a count-back from Jill Fowler, was Vicki Hannah, with -5. In B Grade, the winner was Valerie Johnson with +1 and runner-up on a count-back from Sami Oguzhan, was Robyn Lamson with -6. Nearest the pin trophy went to Dawn Thomas.

Sun. 1 Jun - The men’s stroke competition in A grade was won by Jason Newcombe with a 79/62.Runner up was Darren Gill 71/64 on a countback from Ray Matthews 82/64. B grade was won by David Hand with 84/65 and runner up was a countback between Bewley Marlow 94/68 and Dick McGrath 94/68 with Bewley taking the honours. Nearest the pins for A grade were Don Wagstaff 1/10 hole and Brian McKenzie on the 9/18 hole. B grade winner was Lance Thomas on the 1/10 hole.

Coming up

The golf course will be closed from Monday 4th June for Tournament preparation, which begins Wednesday 6th June with a Men’s 4BBB Stableford competition. Some meals will be provided - please check your entry forms or the notice board at the club house. June tournament results will be published at the finish of the whole event.
