At yesterday's Council meeting the Council discussed the petition of 900+ signatures to stop the sale of 69 McLachlan Street.
Councillors decided to pause the sale for 30 days to allow the community to suggest how the site may be used if it's not sold.
They are seeking a clear, united view about what the community wants, not a 'smorgasbord' of ideas.
To this end, we intend to call a Public Meeting as soon as practicable, date yet to be confirmed. We therefore ask that you do NOT make any submissions to Council yet until we have had the opportunity to discuss it as a community.
