Bob Telford will present a copy of his book "Never Give Up" by Fiona Nelson to our library during a presentation to the year 5/6 students.

National Simultaneous Storytime is on Wednesday 27 May at 11am and "The Brothers Quibble" by Aaron Blabey will be read in our library as it will be throughout the country.

Prep and year 6 have a joint Art lesson where they will experience clay for the first time (the Preps that is), they'll make the letter of their name with a bit of help from their buddy.

The staff carpark is open for business this week, freeing up space for on street parking.  The playground will also open up in its new and improved form and junior students can additionally now take the shortest route to the Leisure Centre – it's the small things that have the biggest impact!

In year 10 English students construct speeches and carry out a debate on contemporary controversial issues.  One debate was "Gay marriage should be allowed in Australia" the other was "The death penalty should be allowed".

We would love to have more volunteers join us for the SAKG gardening sessions.  Grades 5 & 6 are in the garden on Mondays while grades 3 & 4 garden on Fridays (9:40 – 10:30am).  You don't need to be an expert, just keen to help our students.   Please contact Dave Nelson via the school for more details – you don't need to commit to every week, so don't be shy!

There will be a Junior Assembly 9:15am Friday 12th June in the Leisure Centre.
