Skenes Creek Advancement Association

Objectives

To advance the welfare, and to preserve and beautify, of the Skenes Creek District.

For more than thirty years the SCAA has represented the residents of Skenes Creek.  Successful campaigns in the past have focused on improved beach access, lower speed limits and provision of toilet facilities.  The group also makes submissions to Council and other bodies to ensure that residents' views are represented.

Our current focus is a long held ambition to have a shared footpath/cycleway from Skenes Creek to Wild Dog Creek and hence on to Apollo Bay.  We are also pushing hard for 'no camping signs' and signage for the public toilets to stop mis-use of the beach car park.

All Skenes Creek residents are encouraged to join (subscriptions are $10 per year), to meet their neighbours and add their voices to the community.
