26th October 2015
Yr10 Driver Education Camp; Grandparents Open Morning; Annual VCE Art Exhibition; Girls Night In; Shopping Expo; Colac Show Day
The year 10 students head off to Charleston for their driver education camp. Not a doughnut in sight, except maybe a couple of the edible versions. Thank you very much to the Apollo Bay and District Bendigo Bank for helping finance this very important educational experience.
The average age of our school body will rise by a few decades this Wednesday with a special 'Grandparents Open Morning'. Many children will enjoy showing their visitors how far education has progressed from pen and ink, typewriters, sun warmed milk bottles and the cane (yowee!).
Here is an event to pop in your diary – November 7 & 8 is the annual VCE art exhibition. For two days only, from 11-4pm at the Arts Inc Gallery at the Mechanics Hall.
The annual 'Girl's Night In' will be held on Wednesday 4th of November – see Emma De Grandi for more information or if you can help run pedicures, hairstyling, massage etc.
Remember that next Monday is our annual Shopping Expo and Fete from 3 – 7:30pm, if you can help bake for the cake stall or to help setup/pack up, sell tickets, please contact the school or Kate Wagstaff & Meloney Howell.
Oh and next Friday the 9th November is a public holiday for Colac Show Day – so a long weekend for all (possibly not the year 12s due to exams, but never mind!).
For more information please contact the College on (03) 5237 6483.
