18th April 2016
Book Fair; Call for Lids for Art Room; Parent Teacher Interviews; Yr12 Cradle Mountain Expedition; Student Free Day
The book fair is being held in the library this week with lots of book lovers heading there to stock up on reading supplies. Thanks to Robyn Tidball and her team of merry helpers.
The art room is heading into major collection mode for a whole school art project later in the year. Please keep any round, coloured plastic lids from milk, flavoured milk, juice, etc – send them to school for the next few months as you think of it, we need thousands!
Parent teacher interviews will be held next Wednesday the 27th of April, please make the times via the school office or home group teachers.
Our year 12 Outdoor Education students head off to Tassie for their Cradle Mountain expedition as part of their studies – here's hoping they got good weather, but my bet is they'll be glad of a hot shower upon return in a week's time.
And our senior students took part in an interschool athletics competition this Friday against other schools in the region – go Bay!
Remember Tuesday 26th of April is a student free day (emphasis on the student there all staff reading this column...). Teachers will be working on the new Victorian curriculum out next year.
