2nd May 2016
Bushwalking Group; VCE Food Tech Excursion; VCE Melbourne Trip; More Marathon Volunteers Still Needed; Dates for the Calendar
It rained sideways a few times, but that didn't stop the intrepid bushwalking group, who instead of heading off into the bush to continue their enjoyment of the Otways (and its leeches, ew!), competed in orienteering around the school grounds.
VCE Food Technology students headed off to Melbourne to take a look at the Top Design exhibition for inspiration for their final units of work. They also partook in some of the excellent food options the city has to offer, although sadly did not remember to bring me any Haighs chocolate...
There was also another trip to Melbourne for the whole year 12 group so they could visit the careers expo and talk to past students about their tertiary studies in preparation for filling in forms for their choices in 2017. Still no Haighs.
Still a few more spots on the Marathon roster, so if you haven't yet made it to the office to pop your name down, you're not too late!
And a few dates for the calendar: National Walk to School Day is Friday 20th May and there is an open morning on Thursday 19th of May. More details to follow soon.
