'Nude Food' Day; Yr5/6 Cake Stall; Crazy Hair & Casual Clothes; Yrs 10 & 11 Work Experience; Yr9 Science & Engineering Challenge; Happy Holidays
Our Junior School students have been studying sustainability this term and this culminates in a whole school 'nude food' day. This involves sending food without packaging – which is not only good for the planet, but generally better for your health and pocket too.
Year 5/6 will hold a cake stall to help fund their camp next term, this is an annual event and involves a fair bit of budgeting experience.
There will also be a Crazy Hair and Casual Clothes Day this week to raise money for Parkinson's Disease research.
Our year 11 and 10 students head off for work experience either around Apollo Bay or in Melbourne. This is a great introduction to the world of work and even more so to the vagaries of public transport and directional awareness (which way is north Ms Aird?).
Year 9 students head to Deakin University in Warrnambool for a science and engineering challenge.
Have a safe and happy holiday; return to school is Monday 11th of July, remembering that school will finish at 3:05pm from the start of Term 3.
