Funk Band; Parent-Teacher-Student Interviews; Prep-2 Creepy Crawly Incursion; Quiz Night Success; Yr4 Cake Stall; Cross Country; Happy Holidays
Clarendon College's visiting funk band perform for some of our students this week, it will be very...um...funky? Or maybe totes amazeballs to be even more on trend with my vernacular.
Parent-teacher-student meetings are on Monday with, hopefully, an excellent attendance rate.
The Prep-2 students get up close and personal with some creepy crawlies via an incursion which was the culmination of their studies into the world of mini-beasts.
Last week's quiz night raised nearly $2000, thank you very much to all who came and/or donated to the event. Quite clearly I need to work on my trivia skills for next time.
Year 4 students will hold a cake stall this week to help subsidise their camp next term, a great real life (and delicious) maths project.
Cross country will also be held this week for years 3-10. If you are around the foreshore on Friday you may see them huffing and puffing along the track and beach.
School will resume Monday 3rd of October – have a safe and happy holiday.
