School Fete; Yr5 Sovereign Hill Camp; Yr9/10 Road Safety Presentation; Preps Kinder Visit
A short week due to the Colac Show holiday, but nevertheless we packed it in anyway.
Firstly our fete was a great success with lots of locals and visitors coming to take part in the delicious food and great entertainment. As always a big thank you to everyone who helped, but most of all Mel Dacey Howell and Kate Wagstaff who continue to organise the event year after year.
Our year 5 students head off to Sovereign Hill to learn about the goldmining history of our country. They'll go to the old time school there, but sadly they aren't allowed to bring a spare cane back to be used at school here.
Our year 9/10 students head to Lorne for an important presentation to do with road safety, something we actually all need to continually be mindful of, methinks.
And our Prep students head down to the Preschool to meet next year's inmates as well as being able to revisit their younger days (ha!) in the Kindy playground.
