School Fete; Monster Book Sale

In case you missed it (in which case, where the heck were you?) our annual fete was a roaring success today with a large crowd of both locals and visitors. Delicious food, stalls of handicrafts, fun activities for kids, musical entertainment and a stupendous raffle filled up the afternoon.

There is always a lot of work that goes into such an event and we sincerely thank all of the parents, friends and businesses who did or donated something to make it such a success. The final figure is still being determined, but it looks like we may have cracked the $10k mark for the first time!

A special thank you to Andrea De Kauwe and Meloney Howell who were at the helm this year.

We now turn our eyes to the Monster Book Sale on Sunday 7th of January – keep cleaning out your unwanted books, we collect up until the morning of (although preferably a bit earlier!). Drop off is still at the Leisure Centre, school end.
