Yr9 Bright & MacLeod Colleges Visit; Yr12 Outdoor Rec Tassie Trip; Thank Yous

This week we host students from Macleod and Bright College with their annual introduction to ocean based activities. Students are hosted by our families and also camp in the Leisure Centre.

Our Year 12 Outdoor Recreation students head over the sea to Tasmania for their week long trekking ‘holiday’ as they walk the Overland Track. Sounds a lot more interesting than my subjects in Year 12, that’s for sure.

A thank you to Adrian and Fiona Davidson and Kane McGowan for putting down fake turf in our Gaga pit (a type of ball game inside a fence in case you are wondering). Parents of children who have been wrecking shoes in the gravel will be extremely grateful!

A big thank you also to Peter McGregor for painting our lovely ‘new’ old boat that has found a new home at our play pod. We are still taking collections of items for this – unwanted household items, balls, oars, sheets etc. Think imaginative play.
