Yr7/8 Mayor's Talk; Yrs3-6 Soccer; Kendo; Cross Country; School Photos; Dogs in School

Colac Otway Mayor Joe McCracken comes to talk to our Year 7/8 students as part of their study of power (in all senses of the word).

The first World Cup Soccer tournament kicks off with the Year 3-6 students and staff taking part as different countries. Matches are held during lunchtimes as we work towards a final as well as kids’ geographical knowledge…where is Columbia, is it in Europe?

We also have a Kendo demonstration for our middle school students this week – hopefully they'll recruit some new Jedi enthusiasts.

Cross country running will be held this Friday afternoon with Year 3-9 students strutting their stuff along the foreshore.

A little reminder that school photos are next Friday, just in case you need to sort out a quick haircut or polish.

And finally poo + shoe = ew. Another request from the school with regards to dog access to the property and your responsibilities with regards to picking up their droppings. Please be courteous and attentive if your dog is on school grounds.
