Thank You Choir; Yr5 Sovereign Hill Camp; Music Evening; Yr12 Universities Trip

Firstly a very apologetic and belated thank you to the Apollo Bay Choir for their generous donation of just over $400 to the International Trip 2019 from a musical evening they hosted a number of months ago. The message was lost somewhere in cyberspace!

Year 5 students head off to Sovereign Hill in this ridiculous wind to experience the harsh life of the Victorian gold rush era. Although considering they have air-conditioned rooms with ensuites I’m not sure it’s as harsh as living under a canvas roof with rivers of water running through your tent! Still they'll enjoy themselves and come back armed with souvenirs, vials of microscopic gold flakes and only slight tinges of hypothermia.

Our music evening next Tuesday is now well and truly sold out – if you are a lucky ticket holder, it would be great to organise some car-pooling. Come and see the office to find out who you could ask.

Year 12s take a daytrip to Melbourne to visit some universities and Apollo Bay students currently attending them. A last little motivation as they head into their final few months.
