11th February 2019
Swimming Sports; Jackson Hayat; Formidable Vegetable; Visiting Chinese Students; Last Year's Yr12s

Our school swimming sports are on Friday this week, with students from 3-12 participating. Hopefully the weather will be nice and summery. Stay tuned for results on our Facebook page or in next week’s column.

Jackson Hayat’s Year 12 work is in the Next Gen show at the Art Gallery of Ballarat, which opened on the weekend. If you are in Ballarat, it’s definitely worth visiting – on until April 7.

We are hosting a fantastic band on Wednesday 20th  of February ‘Formidable Vegetable’. Come along from 5pm for a sausage sizzle dinner and music before the main event at 6pm. Children free, adults $5 – up near the Community Garden. All invited!

This week we are hosting a group of students from China, aged from 7-15 who came to experience life as an Aussie kid. They'll work in classrooms, attempt surfing and make some happy memories to take home.

And most of last year's Year 12 students received the course of their choice, here is where they are going...
