New Council Members; Yr9 Lost Trades Fair Trip; Staff Cultural Awareness Training; Quiz Night; Athletics Day
This week we welcome newly elected school councillors Carissa Brock, Yvette Hill, Andrea De Kauwe and Pip Cuming.
Year 9 students go to the Lost Trades Fair in Kyneton to learn about…lost trades, funnily enough. We may now have future travishers and netsuke carvers. Personally, I love their website quote ‘never be aftraid to try something new, remember, Noah built the ark, professionals built the Titanic’.
On Friday staff undertake their training in cultural awareness with regards to Indigenous students and history. This will help inform teaching and pastoral care as well as improving educational equality.
Wednesday 3rd of April is a Quiz Night (adults only) for our International Trip fundraiser. Start gathering a table of excited quiz fiends.
Next Friday 15th of March is the College Athletics Day.
