School Play ‘The Brothers Grim Spectacularthon’; Apollo Bay Word Fest; Yr11&12 Studio Arts Geelong Gallery Hop; Yr5 Sovereign Hill Camp; Yr8 "Billy Cart" Mentors Wanted; Australian Maths Comp; Int'l Trip Training Day
Our school play ‘The Brothers Grim Spectaculathon’ plays this week with students from Year 7-12 treading the boards or helping backstage. Congratulations to all and especially to director, Megan Harrison for their huge amount of work.
A number of students and staff also took part in both poetry and debating at the Apollo Bay Word Fest, we were very proud of them all.
Year 11 & 12 Studio Arts students do a gallery hop around Geelong as part of their studies.
Year 5 students will hopefully manage not to fall down any mine shafts, and not contract gold fever on camp at Sovereign Hill.
Our Year 8 mentoring program ‘Building Billycarts’ enters its 11th year. If you would be willing to help out as a mentor this year please contact the school – new people welcome!
A number of students take part in the Australian Maths Competition.
Our international trip students have their Melbourne training day this Sunday, where they'll meet their team leader and run through various travel scenarios.
