Yr9s Macbeth Melbourne trip; Yrs5-10 Interschool Basketball; Indian Banquet; War on Waste; Screening of 2040
It is by the milk of human kindness (in this case the teachers) that the Year 9s head to Melbourne in one fell swoop to watch the play Macbeth. Hopefully it won't be a sorry sight, that nothing wicked will come their way and all will return a little wiser and that’s the end of my Shakespearean quoting for this column.
Students from year 5-10 take part in some friendly basketball competition with their peers from Lorne.
If you love Indian food, we are hosting our final fundraiser for the College International Trip – tickets are $50 for a 10 dish meal made by Ravi at the bottom pub. Head to the office to book your seat, adults only, BYO.
War on Waste students conducted a school waste audit and will analyse the results hoping to effect some change on their local environment. Stay tuned for some tips – every little bit counts.
Speaking of which, we will be screening the positive eco movie 2040 on September 11 @ 6:30pm and September 12 @ 7:45pm. Gold coin donation – please contact Tim Nolan for more information via the office.
For more information please contact the College on (03) 5237 6483.
