INDIAN BANQUET; Yr7 Grampians Trip; Footy Colours & Climate Strikes; Happy Holidays!
We’d like to start by saying an enormous thank you to Ravi Kumar from the Apollo Bay Hotel and Nattie Murray for the amazing curries and Indian treats they're making for the International Trip Indian dinner this week. It's a stupendous and delicious effort. Everyone will be stuffed to the gills after their meals and all profits made go towards paying for the materials to build the school near Agra and to make contributions to the schools we visit in the Maldives.
Year 7 students and their fearless teachers head to Gariwerd/Grampians for a week long camping trip. They'll rock climb, kayak, walk and talk themselves to exhaustion. Parents will also enjoy a week off from their teen, is my prediction.
Friday is footy colours day, raising money for charity and enjoying a day out of uniform. Other students may choose to don their activist uniform and head to the climate strikes in Geelong and Melbourne.
Wishing you a safe and relaxing holiday (not too relaxing for Year 12s who need to be studying, however!) and we will be back from October 7th.
