Athletics; Staff AI Training; Sculpture Workshops

24th February 2025

This week sees our first foray into athletics but for the first time splitting athletics day into junior and senior school. This is due to the (excellent) problem of having large numbers of students in most year levels. So the juniors strut their stuff on track and field this week in preparation for interschool competitions in Colac coming up.

Some staff take part in an online training program to do with AI in the education sector as we attempt to keep up with this veritable moving feast of technological advancements. Some days it feels like a zombie apocalypse would be easier to manage. Just saying.

And we are very lucky to have a fairly spontaneous set of pop up workshops with sculptor Anna Randall. She has recently worked with Adam Elliot on ‘Memoir of a Snail’ and will show students how to create sculptures in polymer clay.
