2019/20 Draft Budget
Notice is hereby given that Colac Otway Shire Council has prepared the 2019/20 Draft Budget, with the community invited to make written submissions.
The Draft Budget has been prepared in accordance with the Local Government Act 1989 (the Act) and a copy will be available for inspection on weekdays at Council’s Customer Service Centre at 2-6 Rae Street, Colac between 8.30am and 5pm and at the Apollo Bay Customer Service Centre, 69 Nelson Street, Apollo Bay between 9am and 1.30pm, and online at www.colacotway.vic.gov.au from Friday May 3, 2019.
Submissions
Any person wishing to make a written submission pursuant to section 223 of the Act on the Draft Budget must lodge a submission by 5pm on Friday 31 May 2019. Submissions should be addressed to the Chief Executive, Colac Otway Shire, PO Box 283, Colac VIC 3250.
Any person making a written submission is entitled to state in the submission that they wish to appear in person on Wednesday 12 June at 5pm to be heard in support of the submission, or to be represented by a person specified in the submission.
All written submissions lodged with the Council will become public documents available for inspection by the public in accordance with the Act.
Council will meet to formally consider the Budget and Council Plan at the Ordinary Council meeting on Wednesday, 26 June 2019 at 4pm at COPACC.

Notice is hereby given that Colac Otway Shire Council has prepared the Draft Revised 2017-2021 Council Plan, with the community invited to make written submissions.
The Draft Revised Council Plan has been prepared in accordance with the Local Government Act 1989 (the Act) and a copy will be available for inspection on weekdays at Council’s Customer Service Centre at 2-6 Rae Street, Colac between 8.30am and 5pm and at the Apollo Bay Customer Service Centre, 69 Nelson Street, Apollo Bay between 9am and 1.30pm, and online at www.colacotway.vic.gov.au from Monday 29 April 2019.
