Colac Otway Shire Council – update on services following easing of restrictions for Regional Victoria at 11.59pm Monday 9 August 2021

As per advice from Victoria’s Chief Health Officer, the following COVID-19 restrictions apply across all Council facilities:
- Masks must be worn indoors and outdoors
- You must check in at each venue
Council Customer Service
The Customer Service Centre in Colac will reopen to the public from 8.30am Tuesday 10 August. GORVIC and the Customer Service Centre in Apollo Bay will open from 9am Tuesday 10 August.
Colac Visitor Information Centre
While restrictions remain in place on interstate travel and travel from metro Melbourne, the Colac Visitor Information Centre will remain closed.
Bluewater Leisure Centre
Bluewater Leisure Centre, including gym, pool, and stadium will reopen to the public from 6am Tuesday 10 August. A density limit of 1 person per 4sqm will apply.
Group and aquatic fitness classes, swim school and childcare will recommence from Wednesday 11 August (pre-booking is essential).
Under current restrictions, access to 24/7 Gym remains closed.
Colac Regional Saleyards
Sales at Colac Regional Saleyards will reopen to the public for the fat sale this Thursday 11 August with social distancing and mask rules in place, in accordance with State Government COVID19 restrictions.
COPACC
COPACC will reopen Tuesday 10 August, a density limit of 1 person per 4sqm will apply, in accordance with State Government COVID-19 restrictions.
Planning Committee Meeting
The Planning Committee meeting will be held virtually via videoconference on Wednesday 11 August at 2pm. The meeting will be livestreamed to the public via Council’s YouTube channel (search Colac Otway Shire Council at www.youtube.com)
