August 17, 2018
Mayor Joe McCracken has urged community members to get active during the Pick My Project voting period and help 20 projects in the Shire share in $30 million up for grabs across the state.
Pick My Project is a State Government community grants initiative that gave Victorians the chance to suggest ideas. Now, with applications closed, everyone gets the chance to decide which ideas will improve their communities the most.
“It’s a simple concept that can inject some valuable funding into our communities and it will be those projects that attract the most votes that are ultimately successful in our area,” Cr McCracken said.
