PUBLIC MEETING
275 Barham River Road Development
Friday 12th Jan. 4 – 6 pm @ Apollo Bay Youth Club, Moore St. Apollo Bay
- Otway Forum will convene another public meeting, this Friday the 12th of January, to discuss the 275 Barham River Road Development planning application.
- Since the last public meeting in Nov. more reports and referrals from public authorities have been received by COS.
- Submissions from the public are still being accepted by COS.
- Send them to
- COS acting CEO Rob Dobrzynski and Planning Consultant Brydon King will be attending to answer your questions.
- The developer has been invited.
- All local, state and federal politicians have been invited.
- COS councillors may soon be required to vote on the proposal, at a regular council meeting, before the Planning Minister Richard Wynne agrees to call in the application to set up his own expert planning panel.
- So this is your opportunity to meet and lobby your councillors and other politicians.
- Libby Coker the Labor candidate for the federal seat of Corangamite has publicly stated that she does not support the proposal and will attend the meeting.
- The objectors association now has over 1000 members, 90% are either a permanent resident or ratepayer in Apollo Bay.
- The other 10% are frequent visitors.
- Volunteers are needed to help man the office and manage the facebook page.
- Volunteers are also needed for the hall setup and pack up on Friday, and also for the fundraiser concert on Jan. 27th.
- Prizes for a raffle, at the concert, are also required to raise funds.
- All this is costing our small community a lot of money and time. CAN YOU HELP!!!
