Help with Asthma Now Close at Hand

With thanks to the Apollo Bay and District Health Foundation’s 2015 grant, Otway Health has purchased a spirometer. This tool helps diagnose asthma, monitor effectiveness of asthma medication and the progression of COPD.

If you have any concerns regarding asthma or COPD, see you GP for a referral for a spirometer test by Otway Health’s Community Nurse. Previously the closest spirometer test was in Colac, so Otway Health is now very pleased to be able to offer it locally.
