HIPPY Program - Parent Information Session

HIPPY is a free, fun, flexible home based learning program for parents/carers to play with their child and celebrates the parent/carer as the child’s first teacher. The program is available for children in age 4 Kinder, it compliments and supports the learning that happens at Kinder and promotes school readiness.

HIPPY Mentors work with families for up to 2 years with guided educational packs. HIPPY is delivered during school terms, every week. Families attend a 1:1 1 hour home visit (or zoom) with their Mentor each fortnight.

Free Financial Counselling appointments

Rhonda Mahoney provides confidential information and support for individuals, families and groups who are experiencing debt problems. Counselling on debt management, negotiating with creditors and budgeting is available, as well as information on bankruptcy, credit laws and government assistance.  Rhonda is from Colac Area Health and visits Apollo Bay fortnightly.
