TrailRider All Terrain Wheelchair

Colac Otway Shire have purchased a TrailRider All Terrain Wheelchair to be located at the Apollo Bay Visitors Information Centre.

This wheelchair is free to hire (with a small deposit) and can be used on a number of different walking tracks and in a variety of locations.

The chair is easy to use but does require two walkers (as demonstrated).

The Great Ocean Walk has been graded for the use of this wheelchair and walks on those paths range from easy to advanced.

This chair can be used by locals and visitors alike and there are plans to add a beach specific chair in the next little while.

Bookings are essential and can be made Mon-Fri, a minimum of 2 days prior to planned collection, directly with the Visitor Information Centre on (03) 5237 6529.
