Barwon South West Strategic Bushfire Management Planning - Final Phase

Strategic bushfire management planning is an important action we undertake to reduce bushfire risk. The process of developing a plan brings together land and fire managers, communities and other key stakeholders to develop a common understanding of bushfire risk across the landscape and determine appropriate management actions to reduce that risk.

We are now seeking your input on reviewing and providing feedback on the proposed final strategy for the Barwon South West region, which has been developed from what communities said were important during widespread consultation as well as through direct conversations with community members and stakeholders.

This consultation will be open from 29 July - 12 August 2019.
