$50 Freebie; How Much Power did I use?; Solar Drop In

31 January 2019
$50 (a Vic Govt freebie)…

Did you know, The Victorian Government will give you $50 for simply checking if you are getting the cheapest rate for your power (i.e. are you paying too much on your power bill). This is from the Vic Govt Victorian Energy Compare Website (compare.energy.vic.gov.au):

‘The Victorian Government's $50 Power Saving Bonus payment is available from 1 July 2018 to 30 June 2019. To claim your bonus follow the website prompts until you get to the Compare Offers screen, where you will see a button to submit your Power Saving Bonus.’

It’s pretty straight forward, takes less than quarter of an hour and the cheque arrives a couple of weeks later.

How much power did I use…

Ever wondered…

…how much electricity do I use on a daily, hourly, monthly basis?

…what time of the day do I use most/least power?

…how do weekends compare with weekdays?

1901 sos power use

It’s actually pretty straightforward to get hold of this information. All you need to do is register with your electricity provider and you will have access to this type of detail. If you are with Powercor this can be done via their website (www.powercor.com.au/our-services/myenergy)
