We are currently working on an application to the Tiny Towns Fund for a grant to achieve some minor works to the building to ensure its usability by the community, as soon as practicable. We have had quotes for the works and await consent from the Council as the current landowner before we submit the application in a few weeks. The outcome will be announced in May.
Council’s EOI process will open soon, to which we will apply on behalf of the community. We’ll have more detailed information about this to share in a couple of weeks.

ABC article highlights Apollo Bay's Housing & Childcare Crisis
We are proud to have been involved in helping to bring this to the attention of the media, having met with the journalist, Jean Bell, and organised interviews for her to collect the relevant material. It is a great report that should attract the attention of the relevant government bodies to assist with resolving the crisis. You can read it here.
Members’ skills register
In the next few months, we hope to have a database created that will allow us to register the many skills that our community members have to offer. More information on that to come.
