Yes, it’s true, finally, the outdoor pool is now heated to a comfortable 28 degrees.
The school students are swimming at lunchtimes and swimming squad after school on Mondays and Wednesday.
The school is offering this time for lap swimmers in the community as there is one lane free.
Mondays & Wednesday 3.30pm – 4.30pm until 1st December. Come and swim!
We are currently negotiating the opening hours for the summer with the Council & Bluewater Fitness who will continue to operate the pool from 1st December until 10 March. These hours were dependent on the weather being over 20 degrees, but now the pool is heated this will change and will be announced very soon.
The committee is working hard to have everything ready to submit to obtain the building permit for the structure for which construction is scheduled to start in April. We are still aiming at a grand opening in July 2019 !
