Staff discuss IT requirements; Preps kinder visit; Little Aths; Yr10 mock interviews; Yr5/6 to dredge launch
This week staff meet to discuss the information and communication technology (or in other works computers, televisions etc) requirements for our new school. This determines furniture arrangements, wall spaces and curriculum delivery, so these meetings are very important!
The Preps are scheduled to visit kindergarten (weather permitting!) to fill them in on what school is really like – they will be their 'in class' buddies next year, alongside their year 5 buddies who they met last week.
The Junior School will participate in a Little Athletics day to experience the different sports involved in this program. Please register online with Little Athletics if you'd like your child to participate.
Year 10 have mock interviews as important experience for the coming years - many choose to enter the workforce from this age (if they haven't already). Thank you to Mark Kinninmonth, John Lugg, Rhiannon Cox, Georgina Harrison, Marie Cochrane, Alan Whelan, Kath Spiers, Karina Shircore, Daniel Kent and Brian Mckenzie for their time.
The year 5/6 students will go to the dredge launch at the harbour to see The Apollo and its tow boat The Urchin begin their service to the town.
