Welcome Back!, Back to School Dates & New Times, Summer Fundraising

The wheels are slowly cranking back into action for the new school year of 2015.  Although truth be told they've never stopped moving, what with the continued finishing touches to the new school, fundraising and planning that has gone on throughout the holidays!

Please note the following dates:

• Tue. 27th Jan – Book list pick up at school office in the portable classrooms from 2014
• Thu. 29th Jan – School resumes for students in years 7-12, interviews for years 1-6
• Mon. 2nd Feb – School resumes for years 1-6 students
• Tue. 3rd Feb – Prep students begin

A reminder that the school day will start at 8:50am and finish at 3pm.

During the holidays a number of fundraising initiatives were conducted.  The Arts on Stools auction was very successful, making $1,940!  Thank you very much to all the artists who donated their time and work: Sisca Verwoert, Beccy Foster, Doris Hansen, Sally Forrester, Cas Duff, Nicola Philp, Scotty MacAllister, Sue Harrington, Pat Shannon and Lyndi Whalen.  Thanks to Roger Browne and Arts Inc for their support along the way, too.

A number of raffles were held in January to help raise much needed funds for furniture for the new school.  Thank you to Foodworks and Jimmy's newsagent for their support of this venture – and the wonderful parents who gave up their time!
