Tertiary Offers, Yr12 Camp, Welcome New 'Shiny' Preps, Swimming Carnival
Year 12 tertiary offers came out in January. Seven out of nine students received their first choice, the other two students their top two and three (which apparently they couldn't decide between anyway!). Many of them will be taking a gap year to join the workforce or do some travel – we wish them well for their post-school future.
The courses are as follows:
- Emergency Health (Paramedic) - Monash University
- Paramedic - Victoria University
- Nursing - Deakin University
- Fitness - Victoria University/Footscray Park
- Nursing - Deakin University
- Engineering-Chemical (Honours)/Biotechnology - RMIT University
- International Studies - Deakin University
- Health Sciences - Deakin University
- Associate Degree of Education
Current year 12 students went on a study camp to Bimbi Park to set them up for a successful year of work (as well as some bonding time!).
We also welcomed our brand new, shiny Prep students to school – Maiya, Rory, Lilah, Nelly, Lily, Eddie, Anika, Anamika, Remy, Eliza, Henri, Matilda, Charli, Leo and Chloe. They all finished their first week with smiles, so we think they'll come back for more!
Wednesday 11th of February is our college swimming carnival for those who would like to watch – more info to come via the school.
