Seafood Festival, Yr7 Camp, World Cup Cricket, Surf Lifesaving Carnival, Try Sailing, Surf Cadets
The smell of home baked goodies wafted through the Seafood Festival last Saturday and the goodies themselves netted $1590ish for our College. These funds will go towards our ongoing purchases for the new buildings and grounds. Thank you so much to all who helped.
Year 7s head off to Portsea for their an adventure filled camp experience.
A lucky group of cricket fans bus it to Melbourne for a day to watch Bangladesh take on Australia in a World Cup Cricket match. I'm sure they'll be bowled over by the experience (ohhh, don't you love a bad cricket joke?).
A group of our Senior School students head off to Torquay to take part in a Surf Lifesaving carnival (think Nippers for bigger kids). The group fundraised within the school to pay for this excursion.
The 'Try Sailing' program sails into its second week, with a few man overboard moments and open ocean boat swaps occurring.
Surf cadets has picked up from last year and is held at the Surf Club after school once a week.
Can you believe the number of extra-curricular activities we fit into a week?!
