Year nine band 'The Refuge' played as special guests in The Battle of the Bands at COPACC last Saturday 5th of September – the boys are playing some great gigs!
The Bimbi Park family weekend is back again on the 4th and 5th of December. Give Frank or Katrina a ring on (03) 5237 9246 to book your accommodation early, more details will come through the school newsletter.
P/1/2 students visit the Cape Otway Eco Lodge as part of their studies of Australian animals, thanks to Lizzie and Shayne for hosting (naughty children will be fed to the quolls).
Cross country will be held for our year 3-8 students this Friday. They'll huff and puff their way along the foreshore (unless they're rained off).
Our Senior School students will be introduced to the cutthroat world of Ultimate Frisbee via our current student teacher, Lauren Tinks. Lauren is on the Australian Ultimate Frisbee team who recently placed 4th in the world championships. So you see, there is a sport for everyone!
Last week saw the dolling up of our Senior School students as they headed off to the formal at the Apollo Bay Surf Club. They all scrubbed up very nicely and took a night off from their studies to enjoy themselves with Lorne and Lavers Hill P-12 Colleges. Thanks to all those who helped with the event.
There is a working bee after school this Thursday (10th) – bring along gardening tools and elbow grease!
Finally, please remember the last day of term is next Thursday 17th September due to parent-teacher interviews on Thursday and Friday.
For more information please contact the College on (03) 5237 6483.
