U17.5 Footy; Yr9 Melbourne Camp; Flying Bookworm Company; VCE Studio Art Ballarat trip; Student/Parent/Teacher Interviews; Portables Removal
Another term is drawing to a close, with plenty of events taking place right until the final bell!
Firstly, congratulations to all the members of the U/17 Apollo Bay Football team who played in a terrific grand final last Saturday. The school community are very proud of your efforts.
Our year 9 students returned from their Melbourne camp where they researched a topic of interest, surveyed people in the street and related professionals before returning to school to put their information into a presentation.
Our Junior School students attend a theatre production by the Flying Bookworm Company. They'll perform well known fairy tales for the Kindergarten – year 2 students and famous poems for the year 3-6 students.
The VCE Studio Art students head off to the Ballarat Art Gallery to do a final session on public art spaces before their exam.
Many students will attend student/parent/teacher interviews on Thursday and Friday as part of the end of term proceedings.
Please note that on the 1st of October all school and community members are asked to stay off the school grounds due to the removal of asbestos and portables (the ones near the oval). Thank you for your understanding.
School resumes on Monday 5th of October – have a safe and happy holiday period.
