Thank You Marathon Volunteers; Interschool Netball/Football; Junior School Open Morning; Congratulations Deb Aird; Keys Please; National Walk to School Day
Firstly, thank you so very much to all the volunteers who helped our school (and even the few who tried and were doubled up!) over the marathon weekend. The weather was a bit challenging on the Sunday, so we do feel very grateful to all of you who braved the elements on our behalf!
A strong group of footy and netball players head off for an interschool competition to Colac to do us proud, which matters more than the score...
We'll have our Junior School open morning where parents come along to see how our school operates, some still relive harsh memories of bygone years (breathe deeply Dad, the cane was outlawed a while back now...)
Congratulations to Deb Aird for being awarded the Rural Education 'Inspiring Leader' award as nominated by some of her VCE students. A worthy recognition of many years of enthusiasm and dedication.
Keys Please, our annual driver education program, begins for our year 10 students as they head towards the next phase of independence (eek!).
National Walk to School Day is next Friday 27th May – we will leave from the Surf Club at 8:10am and enjoy a pancake breakfast upon arrival to school.
