National Walk to School Day; Daylesford School Band; Parents & Friends Meeting; India Trip Fundraising Dinner/Quiz Night; Weeding; Family Trivia Night
National Walk to School Day is/was Friday 27th May. At the deadline of this column the weather was looking iffy, so we may or may not have walked to school from the surf club for pancakes upon arrival, or not! How's that for pollie speak?
Daylesford Secondary College visited with their school band and put on a terrific performance for our Prep – Year 6 students.
There is a Parents and Friends meeting on Tuesday 7th of June at 7pm at Marrar Woorn. Interested families are invited to come along for the opportunity to have input into setting the direction for the next three years. Bring along your suggestions and hopes and enjoy a light supper too.
Fancy yourself as a quiz master? Then come along to the India trip fundraising dinner. June the 8th from 6:30pm for a 10 course Indian style meal and a quiz, tickets $50 from the front office.
Thanks to the small, but cheerful group of weeders who came along last week, we certainly made a dint in the weed population...sadly, they'll be back.
And another winter evening quiz activity – consider joining in the family trivia night at the Apollo Bay Hotel on Saturday 18th June, 5:30pm. It centres around saving our oceans from pollution and is suitable for all ages. Keep your eye on upcoming ads for this.
