Literacy Day School of Rock; International Trip Quiz Night Fundraiser; Working Bee

It was Literacy Week for the entire nation this week and we celebrated by having the School of Rock. Famous musicians and quite a few not so famous ones (creative thinking there folks) turned up to school on Tuesday to take part in a day of playing with words, ideas and music.

Our international trip is heading into the final stages of preparation. They are holding a fundraiser for the schools in the Maldives that we supported after the tsunami. Come and dazzle us with your brain of facts that are only useful on these occasions.

It's been a while since our last working bee so we will see how Tuesday the 30th pans out weatherwise – get your weeding gloves ready!
