Writing Competition Winners; Yr12 Studio Art Geelong Visit; Parents & Friends; 'Play Pod' - Donations Wanted

Congratulations to our students who entered the local writing competition, Meg Hill was the winner of the children’s section, Michaela Fisher won the youth category, Lyra Philp was given a special judge’s award and our very own Bec Wright won the adult (local) award.

Year 12 Studio Arts students gave up their Saturday to visit some galleries in Geelong as part of their final unit of study.

Parents and Friends will be holding another meeting on Monday 7th of August from 7pm in the school’s staff room. All are welcome and invited – new faces especially!

If you’ve wondered what the big, blue shipping container is, it is our ‘Play Pod’. Soon there will be a sliding door and deck appearing in it and we will be filling it with items that can be used in imaginative play. If you have unwanted sheets, telephones, large cylinders, ropes, mops or brooms or anything you think may be useful for imaginative play, please contact us and we can come to pick it up.
