Yr10 Work Experience, Yr9 BAT Force; Musical Cabaret Dinner with International Saxophonist
It is experience in the world of work for our Year 10 and 11 students this week, with placements in Apollo Bay, Geelong, Melbourne and beyond. This is always an excellent introduction to public transport (Southbound? Which way is south?), meeting new people and extending work hours until 5pm. A busload of fairly tired students always arrives home on Friday evening.
BAT Force continue their work on cyber issues with our Year 9 students. This tied in nicely with the consultation with parents, students and teachers about our mobile phone policy, which is currently being developed.
We have an exciting event coming up on Tuesday 31st of July. International saxophone superstar Phillipe Giess (and a few other excellent musicians) are performing at Seacroft Chapel and we will be cooking dinner and dessert for all attendees. Tickets are $25 adults/$15 kids (Junior School) and are available at the school office. Don’t miss out! Bus transport available for those interested.
