25th June 2018
Musical Dinner with International Saxophonist & Others; Yr11/12 Studio Arts Melbourne Trip; Yr7/8 Cooking Melbourne Excursion; Happy Holidays

Apologies for the bad maths and editing in last week’s column (that is called ‘yikes it’s 4:40pm and the deadline is 5pm’). However, we still have the same incredible music evening/dinner on Tuesday 31st of July. International saxophone superstar Phillipe Giess, along with world renowned composer and performer Barry Cockcroft and one of Australia’s best pianists in Adam Pinto are performing at Seacroft Chapel. Students are cooking dinner and dessert for all attendees. Tickets are $30 adults/ $20 kids (Junior School) and are available at the school office. Don’t miss out!

Year 11 & 12 Studio Arts students braved an early start (teens+dawn = grumpy) to head to Melbourne to see MoMA and Top Arts, 2017’s best year 12 art, at the NGV.

Year 7&8 cooking students headed out on an excursion as well hitting the hustle bustle of Footscray Markets and three restaurants to sample traditional ethnic foods from Ethiopia, Malaysia and Vietnam.

The fat lady is singing loudly in the background of Term 2, which means we will be back on Monday July 16th – safe and happy holidays to all concerned.
